Located on the bank of the Clearwater River on one of the most popular fishing spots, Pink House Hole, it provides the ideal location for those seeking to catch the mighty ocean-going Chinook Salmon and steelhead trout that return each year from the Pacific Ocean to spawn in the hatcheries they left as tiny smolts 2-3 years ago. Now mighty fighters they draw anglers from across the US. Anglers also fish for smallmouth bass, trout and other species that call the river home.

Historical travelers will want to visit the Lewis and Clark and Nez Perce Indian sites along U.S. Highway 12 on the opposite side of the Clearwater River from Bobcat's. The more adventurous may want to check out the Lolo Motorway and other backcountry historical sites.
